Finally, AHPRA replied
Yesterday, Wife asked to email AHPRA to check on her application for limited registration as medical practitioner in Australia.
Today, they replied, asking us to provide them with several documents. My heart froze. We sent the application on the 18th December 2020. A month had passed. If Wife didn't ask me to follow up with her case, we would still be waiting anxiously for their reply. Only 62 days to go.
From the day of her interview till we handed in the AHPRA applications, there were just too many setbacks. The whole process was not smooth sailing.
Wife bought four big suitcases in Mid valley last weekend. While she started to put in pillow cases, bed sheets, blankets and towels, she started experimenting with the vacuum bag to compress all the fabrics. These space saving material really helped in putting more clothes in our suitcases.
We started to make arrangement for our cars to be shipped back to Sarawak. The current charge to send back a 1m x 1m x 1m box is RM250, while sending a car back to Miri would cost us RM2500.
One of Wife's junior who will be working in the same medical centre in Adelaide managed to fly off last night. This week was very tenseful as Malaysia started to impose MCO 2.0 two days ago.
