And the taking photo game begins

I realised that Angel's photo in her passport was taken when she was one year old.  A quick check with the Immigration Sept revealed that I needed to have the current photo of hers to be pasted in her passport.

We drove off to Pejabat Imigreaen Wangsa Maju after making an online appointment. When we approached the Officer at the registration counter,  he said we needed to photostate Angel's birth certificate, my IC and her photo taken at the next door's photo shop. Off we walked towards the said shop and alas,  it was closed.

After walking around the vicinity,  we found another photo shop. While observing the social distancing strictly,  we got her photo taken.  We walked for another 10 minutes to reach Immigration Office, only to be told that her forehead could not be covered by her hair and ears needed to be clearly seen.

Time was 12.05 noon. We hurriedly walked back towards the photo shop while figuring how to adjust her hair. I finally managed to buy a curved hair band in a pharmarcy but upon reaching the photo shop again, I realised that the hairband was notiecable in the photo later.

I decided to use simply piped water to adjust the hairline.

And finally the passport photo was stamped into her passport.

Wife realised that the expiry of Angel's passport would be May 2022, which needed to be renewed in Melbourne when coming back to Malaysia in April 2022. Her new passport needed to be made soonest.

Another scramble to the UTC Sentul on Saturday ensued
